Living in the tropical climate allows us to have a wide range of activities in the in-between spaces, spaces that are neither completely indoor nor completely outdoor. Having these semi-outdoor space allows the presence of natural elements such as light, airflow, & greenery, in your home,  creating a uniquely tropical sense of comfort.

This design project provides a view of how extensive utilization of semi-outdoor spaces in a house can create a uniquely tropical sense of comfort.

Almost all of the communal functions in the project are accommodated in semi-outdoor spaces, where both indoor elements (roofing, protection from rain & heavy sunlight) and outdoor elements (natural airflow, plants & greenery) are present.
